I was watching the shadows of my window grilles play along the walls and ceilings thinking about how beautiful moments can be. Multiple sources of light cause the repetition of shadows... the grilles and the sources maybe not so nice alone but they combine to create a night time movie. I tried to film it with a digital camera but only darkness.

I have been spending some of my time thinking of how life is a personal movie. It is always from your point of view and everyone is just how you see them. You rarely come across as who you project. Everyone sees the flaws that you try to cover up. Some people look to an outside source to define themselves. I am a hippie. I am a republican. A catholic. A businessman. etc. Are you truly just a businessman... isn't that simply an easy way to deal with life? I can follow this set (imaginary) program and if I stay in between the lines 100% of the way I will achieve happiness. Happiness is here and now and not tomorrow or yesterday (I know I'm reiterating old posts.) Do we become accustom to our way of perceiving ourselves? I don't think it is really any different than how we grow accustom to viewing others a certain way and then accuse them of changing. Maybe they have "changed" but perhaps you were not watching so closely. Any thoughts?

Abrupt change of subject.... I just finished the pbs warhol documentary. It was way over the top in exclaiming warhol was the greatest artist ever or at least in this century. Along with a very dramatic soundtrack at times which became even more obnoxious when they would run the dramatic song for lengthy periods of time. Besides all that it is worth seeing... particularly the old footage of warhol.
